April 21, 2022
An FDNY engine company used their apparatus to push a vehicle blocking a hydrant during a fire in the Bronx.

New York City firefighters used their engine company to move a car blocking a fire hydrant at a fire in a Bronx apartment building.

Firefighters were called to the apartment fire on Webster Avenue and East 182 Street on Monday. Crews arrived to a working fire in a second floor unit of a multi-story apartment building.

In a video shot by THEMAJESTIRIUM1, a white SUV is park in front of a fire hydrant block the fire departments access.

FDNY Engine 46 can be seen slowly approaching the SUV using their front bumper to clear the vehicle from in front of the hydrant.

Multiple families were displaced at this fire which is located a couple blocks from where 17 people were killed in a Bronx high-rise fire a few months ago.
