Kaplan Marks International Firefighters’ Day with 'Shine On Public Service'
Kaplan University is celebrating International Firefighters' Day and Public Service Recognition Week with the launch of Shine On Public Service.
Through inspiring content including videos and articles narrated by Georgia State Representative and Kaplan University faculty member Dr. Karla Drenner, the series highlights four professionals who are making a difference in the lives of others through different areas of public service.
The series is hosted on Kaplan University’s Center for Public Service as part of its resources designed to inspire and support professional development.
The series may be viewed at ShineOnPublicService.KaplanU.edu. Kaplan University also asks public service professionals to join in the conversation and recognize those they see as key figures in public service today on social media with the hashtag #ShineOnPublicService.
