Toyne, Inc. built this pumper with an enclosed pump panel for the Massena Fire Department, located along northern border.
It is mounted on a Spartan Metro Star EMFD chassis with 24-inch raised roof and six-seat cab. Power comes from a 450-hp Cummins ISL9 450 engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission.
It has a bolted, painted stainless-steel body and has an enclosed pump panel due to local weather. There is through tank slide-in hard suction, ladder and pike pole storage, plus space to store eight SCBA in the wheel wells.
For fire suppression it has a Hale Qmax 1,500-gpm pump, UPF 1,200-gallon tank, Foam Pro 1600 Class A foam system with 30-gallon tank and a Fire Research Pump Boss pressure governor.
Lighting includes FRC SPA 260-Q70 scene lights, a FRC SPA 830-Q15 brow light, and a Will-Burt light tower.
It is outfitted with a Harrison 10,000-watt hydraulic generator.
