This Pierce Enforcer rescue/engine was placed in service by the Wilmington Fire Department and carries extrication, confined space and high-angle rescue equipment.

The City of Wilmington Fire Department recently placed this Pierce Enforcer rescue-engine in service.

The rig is powered by a 350-hp Cummins L9 engine and Allison 3000EVS transmission.  

For fire suppression, it has a Waterous 1,500-gpm single-stage pump, 500-gallon UPF Poly III tank equipped with a Trident air prime. 

The cab is outfitted with six 911 seats and the rig has a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, LED compartment lighting, slide-out tool trays, Amdor shutters and a two-bottle 6,000 psi air cascade system.

It carries confined space and high-angle equipment, extrication tools and a Stokes rescue basket.

The front bumper has a suction intake and discharge.
