LOS ANGELES, CA, JAN. 29, 2013 – Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters responding to a reported structure fire in North Hollywood found heavy smoke pouring out of the front door. Laying two supply lines, firefighters entered the structure, found two rooms well involved and initiated an attack. The fire was knocked down in just 15 minutes. Police officers who responded on seeing the smoke noticed a man sitting on the front lawn. The man was arrested after he admitted setting the fire due to a domestic dispute.

DETROIT, MI, FEB. 13, 2013 – The first engine arriving on a still alarm found a dwelling well involved and called for the box alarm and requested an extra engine for a possible second dwelling on fire. An offensive attack was attempted, but the fire was spreading quickly. The chief ordered an immediate evacuation and the fire was soon brought under control. The exposure dwelling was saved and no injuries were reported.

CITY OF GOOSE CREEK, SC, FEB. 4, 2013 – Crews arrived to find heavy fire on the first and second floors of a two-story, occupied apartment building. After attempting an aggressive interior attack, crews went to a defensive attack.

BEDFORD, NH, JAN. 29, 2013 – It took firefighters 90 minutes to control a three-alarm fire in a two-story commercial building. Fire was venting from windows and through the roof on arrival. Multiple handlines and master streams and the use of trench cuts stopped the fire. Mutual aid units assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported.
