51 st Annual Field Day and Muster

Dear Fellow Firefighter,

Once again the Oakland MapleviIIe Fire Department is having its annual Firemen's Muster and Parade. This is our 51st continuous year for having this muster.

The event is scheduled for Sunday September 5, 2010 with a rain date of Monday September 6, 2010. The Parade is scheduled to kick off at 10:30 from the Oakland Triangle, which is located at the comer of School St. and Victory Highway. Truck judging and the muster will follow. Some of the categories for the judging will include oldest in service, oldest out of service, newest, and furthest traveled. The Muster will consist of 3 events, a wet, dry and a mystery event. On the muster grounds there will be games, food, soda, beer, and all sorts of raffles, plus there will be a moonwalk for the kids.
