Colorado Emergency Vehicle Technician Academy

The 26th Annual Colorado Emergency Vehicle Technician Academy. Hosted by North Metro Fire Rescue. This is a week long training on multiple subjects. Classes range from Fire Pump Theory and Maintenance, to Charging System Diagnosis and Repair. These classes are geared toward the Fire Department EVT, but are beneficial for any who would like to learn more about how their apparatus operates. Many classes will be taught by the Manufacturer. The Mission Statement of the Colorado EVT Association is: To establish a professional development and training program that will lead to the certification by a certifying agency of fire apparatus mechanics based on a system utilizing academy instruction and supervised, structured testing.
