BALTIMORE COUNTY --
Firefighters battled a house fire Friday in which two people died.
The fire occurred just after 5 a.m. in the 17100 block of Pleasant Meadow Road in Upperco, not far from the Carroll County line.
Baltimore County fire officials said two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The names of the victims haven't been released. Authorities told 11 News that the victims were an adult male and an adult female.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
