Houston Construction Workers Hurt in Collapse

Two workers were injured Tuesday when part of a building under construction collapsed.

HOUSTON --

Two workers were injured Tuesday when part of a building under construction collapsed, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Houston firefighters said the collapse happened at a building along the Katy Freeway near Park Ten Boulevard at about 10:45 a.m.

Investigators said debris and dirt fell onto two workers. They were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
