Texas Firefighter Injured Battling 2-Alarm Fire

ARLINGTON, Texas --

An Arlington firefighter was injured while battling an early-morning 2-alarm fire.

Flames broke out shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday inside a home on the 200 block of Randol Mill Road.

The firefighter injured his hand but returned to work after being treated at the scene.

Investigators said the house had been converted into a business but was currently vacant.

The firefighter is expected to be OK.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
