Firefighters in Prince George's County fought a two-alarm blaze in Laurel, Md., Thursday morning.

The fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. at the Bay N Surf restaurant in the 14400 block of Baltimore Avenue.

Pictures from Chopper4 shows flames coming through the roof of the establishment.

Fire department spokesman Mark Brady said firefighters tried to prevent the blaze from spreading to other parts of the building.

The restaurant has been a fixture in Laurel for more than 40 years, officials said.

So far there are no reports of injuries and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
