The home was destroyed in the two-alarmer.

A home on Hill Road was destroyed by a two-alarm fire Sunday night. Crews were called to the scene by a passer-by just after 9 p.m. No one was home at the time.

The single-family home was fully engulfed. It took crews 40 minutes to control the flames. Water had to be trucked in from a hydrant system about two miles away.

The home and all belongings inside were destroyed. The cause is under investigation.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
