Molotov Cocktail Leads to Deaths of Two Ohioians

A 17-year-old girl managed to flee from the home.

Two people died when a fire that was intentionally set swept through their Akron home Sunday.

Officials said someone threw a Molotov cocktail onto the porch of the Bellvue Avenue home at about 5 a.m.

They aren't releasing the names of the 55-year-old man and 41-year-old woman who were killed until relatives can be notified.

A 17-year-old girl managed to escape the blaze. She was being treated at a local hospital but her condition wasn't available.

The victims are believed to be family members.
