Resident Injured in North Carolina Blaze

About $80,000 worth of damage was done in an Eden house fire, authorities said.

The incident occurred at about 9:41 a.m. Friday on Rosewood Drive. The blaze was under control in less than an hour.

The occupant of the house suffered minor injuries was treated at the scene.

Four fire units and 18 fire personnel, along assistance from Rockingham County EMS, Leaksville Rural Fire Department, Draper Rural Fire Department and the Rockingham County Fire Marshal responded to the scene.

Investigators ruled the fire accidental and said an electrical problem was the likely cause.
