Baltimore fire officials said two firefighters are being treated for minor injuries following a three-alarm blaze that swept through four city rowhomes.
Fire Department spokesman Kevin Cartwright said the fire was reported about 3 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Sargeant Street in the Pigtown neighborhood.
The fire started in a two-story brick rowhouse and spread to three adjacent homes. Two of the homes were occupied and 10 people were displaced.
Cartwright said the injured firefighters were taken to Mercy Medical Center. One was being treated for smoke inhalation and the other had chest pains.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
