A mobile home in Sparks went up in flames while two girls were asleep inside.

It happened in the 200 block of Citadel Saturday around 3 p.m.

Fire officials say two girls, ages 12 and 17. were taking a nap when heavy smoke started coming out of their kitchen.

They immediately ran outside.

The girls' parents weren't home at the time.

Luckily, no one was injured, but the girls told KFOX they're extremely shaken up, since they know they could have lost their lives.

Liliana Hernandez said, "We came out and we just stayed there until the police got there."

Horizon City, Clint and Socorro fire departments responded to the blaze.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
