At least 18 firefighters are recovering from minor injuries this morning after battling a blaze at a popular Manhattan market.
(Upper East Side-WABC, October 25, 2004) -- At least 18 firefighters are recovering from minor injuries this morning after battling a blaze at a popular Manhattan market.

The fire started in an oven at the vinegar factory on the Upper East Side late last night.

Investigators say the fire quickly grew to five alarms, bringing some 250 firefighters to the scene.

The building sustained heavy damage, but thankfully, no customers or employees were injured.
