MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- A small private plane with four people aboard flipped as it was landing Wednesday at Memphis International Airport, authorities said.
Three of those on the plane were taken away by ambulance and the fourth was trapped inside the aircraft. Their conditions were not immediately known.
Authorities did not immediately know where the twin-engine, propeller-driven aircraft was headed or where its flight had originated. The crash occurred about 10 a.m. The plane was identified as a Beechcraft Baron.
The Memphis Fire Department and airport authorities were at the scene, which is on airport property and off-limits to the general public.
