Ocala, FL (March 9, 2010) – E-ONE has been awarded a contract for ten Titan Force 4x4 Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles valued at more than $7.5 million. The ARFF units were ordered by the U.S. Army’s Tank-Automotive Command (TACOM) contracting center on behalf of the Government of Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense.

The new ARFF units feature a 1,585 gallon (6,000 liter) water tank, 205 gallons (776 liters) of foam, and 500 pounds of dry chemical. The units are built to exceed the latest NFPA 414 requirements in extinguishment, stability and off-road performance while offering one of the safest cabs in the industry.
Another recent purchase by TACOM includes a 2009 order for 11 Titan Force 6x6 ARFF units on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency. Those vehicles are now being delivered to the U.S. Army Multi-National Forces to be deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
