The Smeal Fire Apparatus Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team will be calling its First Annual Supplier of the Year Award Ceremony at the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland, Neb., in conjunction with its Dealer Supplier meeting on Tuesday, March 15th, 2016. Since November 2014, Smeal has featured a Supplier of the Month to bring recognition of its alliance and partnership with their Supply Chain and Supply Chain Management efforts.

Smeal Fire Apparatus features a Supplier of the Month in its newsletter to recognize Suppliers who have outperformed in areas of Total Cost of Ownership, Quality, Price, Delivery, Production assistance, Employee Advisory Committee support and Aftermarket Management. “With over 700 suppliers delivering the industries top premium products, these uppermost suppliers have set themselves above all requirements we have put before them,” said Paul Pieragostini, Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Management at Smeal Fire Apparatus.
