Spartanburg County, SC, Asst. Fire Chief Charged with Child Abuse

The alleged unlawful conduct that occurred at the Mayo Area Fire District station was recorded, police reported.

The Mayo Area Fire District assistant chief was arrested at the fire station last week.

Timothy Bryant Cash, 33,  was charged with unlawful conduct toward a child that allegedly occurred at the fire department, WYFF reported. 

He was released after being booked into Spartanburg County Detention Center.

Mayo Fire Chief Donald Millis said Cash was placed on administrative leave following the arrest.
