    The Memphis Fire Department is mourning the loss of 32-year veteran David Pleasant, who was killed in an apparatus crash on Aug. 10.

    The Memphis Fire Department has confirmed the line-of-duty death of 32-year veteran David Pleasant.

    Pleasant was killed in a motor vehicle accident while driving Memphis Fire Truck 5.

    Three other firefighters, who were injured in the crash, have been released form the hospital.
