Houston Firefighter Marcelo 'Ox' Garcia III is being remembered today by hundreds of colleagues from around the state and country.
Garcia was killed in a collapse at a warehouse fire last Wednesay.
His station assignment was unique -- in the neighborhood where he grew up. He often responded to calls from neighbors and others he or his family knew.
Garcia was remembered for his calm demeanor and passion for 3 p.m. workouts.
Just days after the fire, Yesenia Mendez was charged with first-degree arson in connection with the three-alarm fire.
