Three tractor-trailers and three vehicles collided on snowy Interstate 94 in Chelsea and rescuers needed a heavy wrecker to help complete the extrication.
Green Mountain Falls/Chipita Park Fire Department emergency responders battled blowing snow and wind while rescuing a person from the 14,115-foot summit of Pikes Peak.
Firefighters and members of the department's Urban Search and Rescue Team worked for about an hour to free the individual.
