    YONKERS, NY, DEC. 26, 2013 – Calls came in around 4 PM for a fire in the Dollar K store on South Broadway. Companies prevented the fire from spreading to a five-story apartment building next door, but 200 residents from that building were displaced. Seven firefighters were injured and the fire was brought under control in about six hours.
