An early morning fire gutted a vacant apartment complex in Las Vegas Thursday.
Las Vegas firefighters were dispatched when several 911 callers reported smoke coming from the former Moulin Rouge apartment complex on W. Bonanza Road around 5:30 a.m.
Firefighters found heavy flames and smoke was showing the two-story concrete block apartment building. The fast-moving fire had already advanced to the attic area.
A second alarm was requested for additional equipment and firefighters.
Las Vegas fire crews remained on the scene for hours to contain the fire and douse hot spots.
No injuries we reported.
