The Western Canadian HAZMAT Conference is an unprecedented opportunity for emergency response personnel. Our goal is to provide the education and tools needed to protect the safety and wellbeing of responders and communities across North America.
The conference will be held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan ("Canada's Science City") October 6-8, 2010 at TCU Place.
The theme of this year's conference is "HAZMAT: Before, During & After – The 3 Stages of Response". Each day will focus on one stage of HAZMAT response:
Day One – HAZMAT: Planning and Preparedness
Day Two – HAZMAT Management: Technical and Tactical
Day Three – Post HAZMAT: Clean up and Remediation
The conference will feature internationally recognized speakers focused on the needs of first responders, emergency managers, medical personnel, environmental and industry professionals and others involved in emergency response to hazardous materials incidents.
This educational experience is designed to provide attendees with a wealth of knowledge delivered by professionals who have real like experience in the field. Conference faculty members were carefully selected based not only on their credentials, but also on their outstanding reputations as industry leaders.
