A couple in their 60s remain unaccounted for following a massive house fire in Philadelphia.
Firefighters encountered heavy fire and smoke showing from the twin home about 5 p.m.
Three residents managed to get out of the house, Philadelphia Acting Executive Fire Chief Daniel McCarty told WPVI.
"As you see, there is partial collapse to the involved dwellings, and if our responders would have been in there, there would have been a lot of injuries," he explained.
More than 100 firefighters were involved in the operation that lasted several hours.
The cause is under investigation.
