Stoughton, MA, Firefighters Battle Four-Alarm Fire

A firefighter was injured during the operation, according to Stoughton Fire Chief Michael Carroll.

Stoughton firefighters rescued a resident from a third-floor balcony as flames raged at an apartment building early Friday.

Part of the building collapsed during the four-alarm fire, Stoughton Fire Chief Michael Carroll told WCVB.

A firefighter was injured during the operation but all the residents are OK.  

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
