ORLANDO, Fla. --
A mechanical problem put the brakes on E.T. Adventure's flying bicycles at Universal Orlando on Sunday.
Most riders were able to exit the ride without help, but Orlando firefighters had to use a ladder to get 11 people out of a vehicle that was stuck ten feet in the air.
No one was hurt. Park officials said the ride would remain closed when the park opens Monday morning.
A mechanical problem stopped the ride, according to Universal Orlando.
Universal said the ride will reopen after they have thoroughly investigated the mishap.
