An ATV crash in West Virginia has claimed the lives of two North Carolina firefighters.
Rowan-Iredell Firefighters Daniel Sell and Jacob Steele were killed in the off-duty wreck, according to WCNC.
Details of the crash that occurred while the two were on vacation have not been released.
"We lost two very important people to this community," Rowan-Iredell Fire Chief Jared Webb told The Salisbury Post.
The Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department is handling calls while Rowan-Iredell mourn the loss of their firefighters.
