Allentown firefighters continue to battle a fire that has spread to multiple row houses.
The fire was reported just after 4:30 p.m. and went to at least three alarms, The Morning Call reported.
As night fell, firefighters continued to battle flames and smoke.
Some residents have a neighbor to thank for rescuing them.
Kyle Davis said he didn't think twice when he heard a woman screaming about getting people out of the house.
"The fire was chewing through the windows to the back of the house. The whole back of the house was completely engulfed in flames," he told Lehigh Valley News.
Residents lived on all levels of the home, Davis said, but visibility got better as he got to the second and third floors to help them and their pets get out.
Additional details will be posted when they become available.
