Two Chicago firefighters were injured by debris during a garage fire early Monday.
Crews responded to a garage fire in the city's Morgan Park neighborhood, WLS-TV reports. During the call, debris from the garage fell and struck two firefighters battling the flames.
Both firefighters suffered back injuries, and they were taken to the hospital. Their injuries were considered minor, and they both were listed in fair condition.
According to WBBM-TV, the fire also involved a backyard area, as well as the garage. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but arson doesn't appear to be a factor.
