Firefighters on Friday were at the scene of a three-alarm, early morning blaze at a senior center in Mercer County, authorities said.

The fire was reported shortly after 3 a.m. at the Ewing Township Senior and Community Center in the 900 block of Lower Ferry Road, according to the Prospect Heights Fire Company.

No injuries were reported as of early Friday. 6- ABC reported first-responders from across the county were called to the scene. Video from the scene showed heavy smoke and flames coming from the structure.

“Due to firefighting operations Parkway Avenue is closed from Scotch Road to Farrell Avenue. Please avoid the area to allow emergency crews to operate,” Ewing Township officials said in a Facebook post.

The senior and community center is the home base for all senior activities in Ewing, offering exercise, computer classes, pool tables, clubs and trips, according to the township website.

The facility features a pool, Trenton Bath Houses, day camp, basketball and tennis courts, a playground and a sand volleyball court, according to the site.
