Firefighters quickly requested a second-alarm assignment as the flames spread.

A rapidly spreading fire consumed at least six row houses in Baltimore Wednesday.

Firefighters spotted one house fully involved as they approached the Patterson Park neighborhood, but the fire was quickly spreading. A second-alarm was requested.

There were no reports of injuries. The fire remains under investigation.
