Crews Battle House Fire in Neptune Township, NJ

Firefighters went into the house with an inch and three-quarter hoseline and found the fire spreading.

Three firefighters were injured Tuesday battling a working house fire in Neptune Township.

Crews encountered heavy fire and smoke and quickly initiated an attack. Some entered the house with a line while another headed to the roof.

When the interior firefighters found the fire spreading, the second alarm was requested

There were no injuries to civilians while one firefighter was transported for treatment, News 12 reported. 

The cause is under investigation.
