On May 16th, 2003 the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Co #1, responded to a report of a structure fire with heavy smoke showing.
The fire was located in a shed attached to a 2 story duplex.
Two engine companies and the Beach Haven First Aid responded and quickly extinguished the fire.
The fire was kept to the outside of the duplex. There were no reported injuries.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshall's office.
