Ohio Engine Destroyed by Tractor Trailor

On Monday March 17, 2003 at 1352 hours, a Beavercreek, Ohio Engine was destroyed by a tractor trailer truck on Interstate 675.

None of the firefighters were injured, the truck driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. An ambulance suffered minor damage due to flying debris.

The highway was closed for approximately 5 hours to clean up the debris and diesel fuel spilled when the semi's saddle tank ruptured spilling 200 gallons of fuel on the roadway.
