Racine, Wisconsin Firefighters Battle Building Fire
On August 28th, 2010 at 1:44 p.m. Racine Engines 1 & 2, Truck 1, Rescue 1 and Command Unit 41 were dispatched to smoke coming from a building at 1209 Douglas Avenue. Engine 2 arrived on scene and reported a working fire in a two-story structure with flames and smoke showing. With the confirmation of a working fire, Quint 8 was dispatched to the scene as a Rapid Intervention Crew and Car 43 was dispatched as a Safety Officer.
