A two-alarm fire damaged two homes in Torrington on March 4.
The Torrington Fire Department recived a call for a structure fire at 64 Griswold Street at at 2:24 p.m.
On arrival, firefighters advance hoselines and deployed a search team into the fire building.
The fire was contained to the building of origin and the intense heat melted the siding on a second home.
A second alarm was called and no injuries were reported.
Units on scene: Torrington Engine 4, Engine 2, Ladder 2, Car 2, Car 1, District 1, Torringford Volunteer Fire Department Engine 14 and a Draville Volunteer Fire Department tanker.
