The agitated man was threatening to jump from the roof of a Tyler building, but firefighters were able to use an aerial to safely get him to the ground.

Texas firefighters and police were able to talk down a naked man threatening to jump from a roof earlier this week.

The incident happened Monday on the roof of the WC Supply Company building in Tyler, the Tyler Morning Telegraph reports. The man, who wasn't wearing clothes, was in an agitated state and threatening to jump.

Police officers talked to the man and gave him water. Firefighters then used an aerial to reach the man and safely get him to the ground.

Once on the ground, the man was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation, according to the Morning Telegraph.
