Parma fire crews responded to the Regency Apartments after a portion of the parking garage had collapsed Tuesday night.
Fire officials said a part of the parking deck in the sub-level of the garage had collapsed to the ground.
Parma Fire Chief Michael Lasky told Fox 8, “We were very fortunate that this incident did not result in any loss of life or injury. One of the residents whose vehicle was impacted had only recently returned to his residence where seconds later the parking deck collapsed.”
In a photo posted on Facebook by the Parma Fire Department a car is suspended by its bumpers as the flooring below it had collapsed into the level below.
