Photos captured Houston firefighters rappelling from the roof of a high-rise to reach two workers and then bring them safely inside the building through a window they had cut open.

Houston firefighters rescued two window washers from a platform that broke outside a high-rise Wednesday.

Houston firefighters on Wednesday rescued two window washers whose platform collapsed near the top of a multi-story building, according to authorities.

The building was located at 3131 Memorial Ct. near Buffalo Bayou.

A photo shared by the fire department shows workers standing on two platforms, one of which was hanging diagonally from the top of the building. No injuries were reported.
