New York-based artist Jai Wolf was performing at the time. Four people were transported to a local hospital in stable condition, according to officials.

Seattle Fire Department spokesman David Cuerpo said the barricade collapsed after too many of the 3,000 people in the audience pushed up against it, trying to get closer to the stage.

Wolf canceled his performance after the injuries and rescheduled for Sunday night. "I'm so stoked to be back in Seattle but safety is out primary concern and we wanted to make sure that no one would be in any danger," he said in a statement.

Bumbershoot officials said they were "monitoring the situation."
