South Metro Fire Rescue crews responded for an unknown medical call at a Arapahoe County Saturday night and arrived to find that a floor collapsed during a house party.
Fire officials said there were 100 to 150 people attending the party when a portion of the first floor collapsed into the basement, according to 9NEWS Denver.
Firefighters immediately began searching the home and were able to quickly confirm no one was trapped.
South Metro’s Technical Rescue Team assisted with the search operations and used shoring to stabilize the structure.
Three people were taken to the hospital, with one in serious condition and the other two with minor injuries.
