San Diego Fire Rescue crews had to extricate a woman from her car after it smashed into a home.
San Diego Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Mark Reese told 911 Video News that the driver lost control of her car while making a turn and "unfortunately, encountered a house."
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Reese said there was moderate damage to the house, but "the gas line was severed as well as an electrical line, so the gas and power has been turned off, so the residents will be displaced."
Rescue crews were leaving the car in place until the building inspector arrived.
"We will leave the car in place for now in case removing it causes more damage," Reese said.
