Cylinder Lift
ZIAMATIC CORP. (ZICO) has introduced the QUIC-RELEASE Horizontal Cylinder Lift, Model QR-CL-H, for changing bench-mounted medical oxygen cylinders. The unit lifts and lowers “M” through “J” gas cylinders, reducing the chance of strain or back injury during cylinder exchange. Once secured, the cylinder can be rotated 90 degrees to facilitate loading under bench seats and other horizontally aligned compartments. Heavy-duty wheels let a single cart service multiple vehicles. The lift operates off of a 12-volt rechargeable battery. A wall charger is provided with the unit.
Extinguisher Trainer
BULLEX has added new features to the BullsEye laser-driven fire extinguisher training system. The system uses self-generating digital flames to simulate Class A, B, and C fires. Instructors now have the option to control the system with an iPad. The tablet allows not only for full control of all aspects of the evolution, but also collects training data that can be exported to track the performance of trainees. Two other new features that further contribute to the system’s realism are sound effects and smoke generation.

Its load capacity is 375 pounds.
Scene Lighting
STREAMLIGHT INC. has introduced the Portable Scene Light, providing up to 3,600 lumens and featuring a narrow footprint and telescoping extension pole. The light uses six C4 LEDs and wide-pattern parabolic reflectors to provide two selectable beam widths and three levels of light intensity, ranging from a super-bright flood beam to a low setting with ultra-long run times. The light features a rotating head that can be extended on a telescoping pole to an overall height of 72 inches and a 90-degree swivel neck.

Power Blower
TEMPEST TECHNOLOGY CORP. has introduced the SP VS special operations power blower, a GFCI-compatible, electric platform version of the gasoline-driven SP power blower. The SP VS bears the same design as its predecessor, but is torqued by a two-hp electric motor and controlled by Tempest’s latest VS (variable speed) drive. Like the SP, the SP VS produces a laminar air flow (LAF). Differing from traditional cone air flow (CAF), the laminar air pattern shines in unique ventilation scenarios such as multi-story high-rises, stairwells, large commercial structures and complex structures.
