A recent post on the "Ridiculous Real Estate" Facebook page showcases the Minneapolis Fire Department's former Station 23 after it was remodeled into a spacious two-level home.

The building at 3524 Hennepin Ave. is priced at a cool $1.125 million.

Plenty of features were added to the luxurious structure, including several staircases, bathrooms, bedrooms, and storage/closet space, but the open floor plan retains a sense of the original architecture and allows for plenty of light to showcase the beautiful wood and brickwork throughout.

However, there was one element that appears to have been removed, and several observant Facebook users left similar comments that were also first on our minds.

"How can one simply live in a old fire house and not have the pole??? So disappointing," Brandy Prickett said.

Disappointing, indeed.
