High Tech Education Conference Attracts Leaders in Public Safety
Public Safety leaders and IT professionals from across North America gather in Vancouver today, to learn about the latest in FDM Software’s Records Management and Computer Aided Dispatch technology for the fire service.
In addition to three full days of training, the annual conference provides opportunities for users of FDM applications from public safety agencies across the continent, from Texas, California and North Carolina, to Ontario, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories, to share best practices and provide feedback for future development of FDM’s technology.
“We’re looking at 25 years in business next year, and many of the professionals attending this conference have been with us from the beginning. We also have a whole new contingent of clients attending conference for the first time. FDM is here to stay, and our annual conference is an important way to show our commitment to our client partners,” said Ed Colin, President of FDM. “Because FDM applications are customizable, it’s incredibly valuable for our users to meet face to face and talk about how they’ve used the technology, what worked and what did not. FDM has released some breakthrough CAD features this year and we’re interested in seeing how our clients have made use of those.”
One of the highlights of this year’s conference is FDM’s Mobile Inspection App, available from the Windows App store in November.
