THE ELIZABETH, NJ, FIRE DEPARTMENT has taken delivery of a Crimson heavy rescue built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis with a 550-hp Cummins ISX engine with an Allison 4000EVS transmission. The unit is equipped with a 15,000-pound front winch, 9,000-pound portable winch, Robinson rollup doors, 32-kilowatt Onan generator, Federal Signal LED warning lights, six 1,000-watt Fire Research scene lights and Holmatro hydraulic tool compartment with two remote ports.
